Leslie Jones to host 2017 BET awards

Comedian and Saturday Night Live cast member, Leslie Jones is set to host the 2017 BET Awards.

This is the first major awards show gig for the “SNL” star.

Jones joins the long list of comedians who have led the show, including Chris Rock, Mo’Nique, Kevin Hart and Chris Tucker.

She is also billed to headline the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Canada.

The BET Awards will hold on July 25th the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
