Ondo Court dissolves elected LG councils

Justice Adesola Sidiq of the Ondo State High Court sitting in Akure has declared as null and void the Local Government election held in the state in 2016.
The election  was dissolved on the grounds that the peoples redemption party(PRP) and its logo were excluded from the election.

Justice Sidiq also ordered for fresh local government elections in the state.

There was a mild drama as the presiding judge, Adesola Sidiq refused  the National chairman of  PRP, Balarabe Musa and his lawyer, Femi Aborisade the opportunity to file any application to disown the lawyer representing PRP in the court.

Both Musa and Aborisade walked out of the court when it was obvious that the judge was not ready to listen to them.
