The judicial panel of inquiry set up by Osun state government to look into the cause of the ethnic clash in Ile-Ife has received 140 memoranda and petitions.
The panel, which is headed by Justice Moshood Adeigbe, has the mandate to look into the immediate and remote causes of the clash and suggest possible ways of avoiding a recurrence.
At the inaugural sitting in Ile-Ife, the panel urged the petitioners to assist them discharge their duties effectively.
