Twelve persons have been killed and many others injured after suspected fulani herdsmen attacked the Asso Community in Jemaa Local Government Area of Kaduna state.
The latest attack is coming few months after relative peace had gradually been returning to all troubled communities in the southern part of the state.
The attackers stormed the village and opened fire on innocent residents during an Easter vigil.
Meanwhile, the state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has condemned the attack, describing it as inhuman.
He also launched ‘Operation Harbin Kunama 2 that will help the Army deal with armed persons responsible for the attacks in the area.
