Members of the Catholic Diocese of Yola marked Good Friday by securing the release of 25 inmates from Prison.
The church also presented foodstuff and a cow for the inmates of Yola prison to celebrate Easter.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Bishop of Yola Diocese, Stephen Mamza, said the gesture of paying fines for the inmates release and the donation of food items is in line with the teachings of Christ.
