Nigerian musician, Runtown has dedicated his “African Artist of the Year” prize at the prestigious Ghana Music Awards to God almighty and his fans.
The ‘Mad Over You’ won over entertainers like Patoranking, Tekno and Nathaniel Bassey.
Runtown, who thanked the organisers of the award, said he remains greatly indebted to God almighty and his fans who believe in what he does.
Manifest took home two awards for “Hip-hop Song of the Year” and “Best Rapper of the Year” while Sarkodie took home the Hip Life/Hip Hop Artiste of the year prize.
The 18th edition of the Ghana Music Awards celebrates musicians and other music industry professionals that have generated the most public excitement within the calendar year of the scheme.
The Ghana Music Awards is the biggest music ceremony in the country.
