Over the weekend news of the split between musician Janet Jackson and her husband, Wissam Al Mana, hit the internet.
However, the reaction on Twitter is on how Janet seemed to have cashed a whopping $500m as part of a prenuptial agreement.
50 year old Jackson, married Wissam al-Mana in 2012 announcing their nuptials a year after the event.
On the wishes of her husband, she toned down the outfits for her 2014 concert tour, wearing clothing that covered her body, instead of the revealing ensembles that had become her trademark.
Her music videos were also noticeably more subdued.
When she became pregnant, the singer reportedly believed it would help their relationship.
