Zamfara g denies Corps member was brutalised or killed

The Zamfara State government has debunked reports that a corps member serving with the state’s ministry of Education, and teaching at a secondary school in Kaura Namoda was brutalized, or even killed.

The govt through the Directorate of Public enlightenment said that considering the sensitive nature of the matter, the Governor, Abdulaziz Abubakar has ordered an investigation into the issue.

Esi Uwakwe, was reported to have disciplined one of his students, who had a knee injury in the process.

The angry father of the student took the matter to the Police but in the course of handling the case, an officer slapped the Corps member.

The policeman has since apologized for slapping Uwakwe.
