First half goals by Patson Daka and Edward Chilufya sealed Zambia’s first continental title at youth level.
It is their second after the Africa Cu of Nations title won by their senior team in 2012.
It a second consecutive loss for Senegal in the final after their losing to Nigeria on home soil in 2015.
Guinea clinched bronze with a 2-1 win over South Africa on Sunday.
Liam Jordan scored for Amajita but an own goal from defender Katlego Mohamme and a penalty kick by Naby Bangoura ensured South Africa settled for fourth.
