Victoria Kimani is not happy with Kenyan show organisers

Victoria Kimani is presently one of the biggest Kenyan musicians, up there with boy band, Sauti Sol.

But the singer, signed to Nigerian recording label, Chocolate City, recently explained her displeasure with Kenyan show organizers for using their top music stars as opening acts for shows headlined by outsiders in their country.

‘Dear Kenya, The day we stop using our A list artists as opening acts for Other B list ‘intl’ artists is the day we begin actually winning,’ she said.

‘Book us now before you can no longer afford us, don’t chase our Artistic dreams away.’

Chris Brown, Wizkid, Ali Kiba, Navio and Diamond Platnumz are among the global music stars that headlined shows in Kenya in 2016.
