Nollywood actress, Veronica Njoku who played Ramota in the popular TV series, “New Masquerade” has passed away.
According to sources, the actress who had kicked off her acting career in NTA Aba, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, in Lagos, Nigeria.
Confirming her demise to journalists, Tony Akposheri, who played Zaccheus in the TV series said, “Yes, it is true that Veronica Njoku is dead.”
The late Njoku was popular for role as Jegede’s wife in “New Masquerade” – a Nigerian sitcom that aired on the Nigerian Television Network on Monday nights in the early 90s.
