The leaders of the two factions of the People’s Democratic party do not appear ready to back down as they continue to engage in a war of words.
The Sheriff faction has accused the caretaker committee of shunning the peace process because of the fifty million naira allocation they get from governors elected under the party’s platform.
Meanwhile the caretaker committee has denied the allegation and accused the sheriff faction of being sponsored by the ruling party.
