MFM FC secured a hard-fought 2-1 win against leaders Plateau United in the Nigeria Professional Football League on Sunday.
NPFL top scorer Stephen Odey opened scores at the Agege Stadium in the 47th minute
Substitute Peter Eneji put Plateau level on 62 minutes.
Odey will strike again from the spot for his 10th goal of the season.
With the win MFM are now on 24 points and second behind Plateau.
In other week 14 results, FC IfeanyiUbah defeated El Kanemi 3-2 in Nnewi, Kano Pillars beat Gombe United 2-0 at the Sani Abacha Stadium,
ABS were held to a 1-1 draw by Enyimba while Wikki defeated Katsina United 2-1.
