Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has sworn in the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Ifedayo Abegunde and his Chief of Staff, Gbenga Ale, with a challenge to them to be dedicated to duty.
TVC’s Ayodeji Moradeyo reports that the swearing-in ceremony attracted dignitaries from all walks of life, including traditional rulers and stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state.
It was indeed an event that signified the beginning of a new government’s desire for action.
One after the other, the Secretary to the State Government, Ifedayo Abegunde and the Chief of Staff, Gbenga Ale stepped forward to take oath of office before a cheering crowd.
Thereafter, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu stepped forward to give his speech, loaded with words of encouragement.
The Governor described the two appointees as men of proven integrity and committed party members.
He vowed that his administration would continue to reward loyalty, dedication, competence and diligence.
Governor Akeredolu also promised to take drastic action to bring rapid development to the state.
The new appointees promised to contribute their quota to the development of the state.
At the event, five new senior special assistants, the Chief Press Secretary, Segun Ajiboye, Press Secretary for print media and that of
Electronics, Dapo Aruwajoye of TVC News, were officially presented to the Governor.
