George Michael’s final resting place beside his mum

Pop Legend, George Michael was buried near his mum Lesley’s grave at Highgate Cemetery on Wednesday.

But the area is now blocked off by metal barriers to stop sightseers gathering there.

The news will frustrate George’s fans who want to pay their respects to him.

Cemetery bosses have also put up a sign telling them that any flowers or tributes left outside the gates will be removed.

A handful of the singer’s family and friends are the only people to have seen his grave during the burial.

They include George’s gatecrasher on-off boyfriend Fadi Fawaz, who turned up despite not knowing about the funeral until only a few hours before.
