Cobhams Asuquo released his debut album, For You, on Sunday, March 12, 2017.
The 14-track album is a product of five years of ‘labour’ and it cost as much as $100,000 (about N40m) to produce.d
Chocolate City singer, Nosa, Grammy Award-winning singer Aaron Lindsey, and Claire Hendershot are the only featured artistes on the album.
Cobhams, who’s Nigeria’s most respected music producer also announced plans to go on a world tour for his album ‘For You’, which starts on Sunday, March 28 at the Pistis Centre in Lekki, Lagos.
The ace producer got signed to Sony/ATV – a world music publishing company – as a songwriter in 2005.
He’s worked with several local and global musicians in the past 16 years as a producer and songwriter.
They include Asa, Banky W, Bez, Omawumi, Shola Allyson, Waje, Falz, Timi Dakolo, and Darey.
His first official song, ‘Ordinary People’, was released on January 1, 2014 and it’s the 11thtrack on For You.
