CAF Champions League : Rangers face uphill task against Zamalek

Nigerian champions, Rangers will need three unreplied goals to see off Egyptian giants, Zamalek in the second leg of the Caf Champions League round of 32 clash.
The five time African champions defeated Rangers 4-1 in the first leg on Sunday in Cairo.

But coach Imama Amakapabo believes ‘impossible is nothing’ and is side are capable of turning the tie at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu on March 19.

Zamalek’s coach, Mohamed Helmy is also calling for caution, insisting the tie is not over.

Coach Stanley Eguma has hailed the ‘killer instinct’ of his players after Rivers united saw off Sudanese side, Al-Merreikh 3-0 in Portharcourt.

Eguma says it is a huge win but concedes the job is half done as they seek to reach the next round of the caf champions league.

Al-Merreikh Diego Garzitto blamed the kick-off time and the pitch at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium for the loss.

The return leg is in Omdurman on March 18.
