Acting President Professor Yemi Osinbajo is confident that Nigeria will soon get out of the present economic recession.
He was speaking during the second day of the Nationwide Micro, Small and Medium enterprise clinic, in Sokoto.
The clinic is organised by Sokoto state government in collaboration with the office of the Vice President and all stakeholders in the business circles is aimed at promoting the ease of doing business by operators of micro, small and medium business enterprises.
This the organisers hope to achieve by facilitating smooth and cordial relations with various regulatory agencies in the nation.
The acting President is optimistic, the nation’s economy will bounce back because the nation is blessed with rich natural resources as well as human capital, engaged in various small and medium businesses across the nation.
On his part, the Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal explained that his administration attaches much importance to small and medium enterprises, which is why an agency was created for that purpose.
Nigerian economy is largely dependent on oil as its chief revenue earner, a situation that has put the nation into a precarious situation
But with recent reforms such as this, the Buhari administration is hoping to diversify the economy bring relief to an ailing economy in no distance time.
