Players and officials of Sunshine Stars have received reassurances from the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Olurotimi Akeredolu, over their outstanding wages.
The players this week embarked on several protests to the Ondo State Government House to press home their demands.
The players even threatened to boycott their league game against Rivers United in Akure on Sunday.
Sunshine Stars are currently 15th on the Nigeria Professional Football League table with just two victories from nine league games.
