The Portugese Ambassador to Nigeria, António Pedro da Vinha and other representatives have re-opened the office of the Consular in Lagos.

The envoy re-affirmed his country’s quest to tighten the bond between Nigeria and Portugal to enable a business friendly environment inspite of the current economic recession.

He also used the occasion to introduce the Newly appointed Honorary Consular in Lagos, Pedro Hipolito, whose duty, according to Rodrigues da Silva is not only to serve the Portuguese community in Lagos, but also to work toward strengthening the economic and trade relationship between the two countries.
