Police in Ebonyi have arrested five suspects carrying four fresh human heads after their vehicle was intercepted along the Enugu-Ebonyi boundary.
The suspects, consisting of four males and one female, were caught Wednesday in the morning, during a stop and search conducted by security operatives along that road.
The suspects tried to escape upon being caught but were shot on their legs by the men of the Department of State services, DSS, who then proceeded to display the fresh human heads on the road for all to see.

The Ebonyi State police command and state’s DSS command have not yet reacted to this development as the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Jude Madu, said the command has not received information about the incident.
