Organised labour in Nigeria and its Civil Society allies are to hold a one day protest in Lagos and Abuja on Thursday to register their displeasure against high cost of living, campaign for good governance and enhance the fight against corruption.
NLC President, Ayuba Wabba disclosed this at a news conference in Abuja.
He said the rally support is to canvass for a living wage and reject the continued rise in the cost of living amidst deteriorating purchasing power of the Nigerian people.
Wabba said the Thursday protest is also to kick against states which are indebted to pensioners in liabilities and gratuity.
