Nollywood filmmaker, Seun Egbegbe was granted bail of N5m on February 24 after 23 days behind bars for attempted fraud.
Egbegbe and his accomplice, Oyekan Ayomide appeared at the Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday to know their fate in front of Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo.
The convicts had earlier appeared at Ogudu Magistrate Court, where Egbegbe was charged with 36 counts, which include defrauding a couple of Bureau De Change workers of over N6m at Gbagada General Hospital in Lagos.
‘Both accused should be granted bail of N5m with two sureties each in a sum of N2.5m. That is four sureties altogether. One of the sureties must be a civil servant who has attained level 16 while the other surety must be a land owner in any part of Lagos metropolis,’ Oluremi said in her judgement.
