The Nigerian military has taken delivery of combat rations that will be dispatched to troops in the frontline in the battle against Boko haram in the northeast of the country.
The rations comprising garri, energy cubes and tomato puree are meant to improve the food rations of the troops who in times past had rioted over lack of food.
The indigenous company that donated the items also gave a cheque of a million naira to the family of the late Abu Ali- who was killed in the frontline by Boko Haram insurgents.
