The Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo has assured residents of the state of a free, fair and credible local government elections.
The Governor says the move will strengthen the peaceful co-existence the citizens have experienced for years.
Governor Dankwambo made the disclosure at the swearing in of the new care taker local government chairmen in the state.
He says the appointment of the chairmen is in accordance with the provisions of the law and charged citizens of the state to accord them the needed support while they ensure a smooth, free local government elections in the state.
