Award-winning singer, Davido has released his first song for 2017.
Entitled ‘If’, it was produced by MMMG lead act, Tekno, and Director Q directed the video.
It took Davido 11 months to release a song in 2016, but he remained on the big picture with over 20 music collaborations he did during the period.
The SONY music artiste has shown desperation to reign this year, and has revived his style of singing about women, money, and booze.
‘My money, my body na your own,’ Davido chanted before teasing ‘30 billion’ in an unknown account in his new studio work.
He also added one of Fela Kuti’s popular rhymes ‘no do no do no do gragra for me’ as a sauce in his chorus.
Davido is the first to release a song among his contemporaries this year, which include Wizkid and Olamide.
