Adamu seeks more funding for Education sector

Nigeria’s Education Minister, Malam Adamu Adamu  is seeking an increase funding to the sector.  Adamu admits that the standard of education in the country is poor and urges all citizens to take responsibility for the worsening state of education.

The Minister spoke when he appeared before the House of representatives Committee on Basic Education for the presentation of the 2017 budget.

The government official says the ninety naira per day feeding for students of unity colleges is no rather feasible

The lawmakers promised to provide adequate funding to cater for feeding and other welfare needs of federal government’s Unity Colleges.
