Actors, musicians urge youths to join entertainment industry

Professional entertainers and films producers have advised Nigerian youths to consider tapping into the heavy business opportunities in the sector instead of looking for white collar jobs.
They made this known during the entertainment mentorship session at the Ogun State Youth Convention held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The panelists including Tunde Kelani, TY Bello, Dele Odule, Kunle Afolayan and Tunde Adewale appealed to the youth to look for other areas of entertainment industry where they could carve a niche for themselves.

The Commissioner for Information, Dayo Adeneye said the industry is a money spinner, noting that the state government will assist the youth in ensuring that they get it right.
