A strange camp where people were being allegedly dehumanised has been discovered and raided in Iwo, Osun state by the police.
This followed intelligence gathered by the police.
The strange camp is located on the outskirts of Iwo in Iwo local government area of Osun state.
Kamorudeen Akanmu who owns the camp keeps the victims in the guise of providing them with spiritual healing and deliverance.
Many had allegedly lost their lives and buried in the camp while others still await spiritual healing and deliverance.
Akanmu is not licensed to operate the camp but he claims he is not doing anything illegal.
Osun state commissioner of police, Olafimihan Adeoye said proper investigation is being conducted to get to the root of the matter.
Twenty six persons were rescued, just as three corpses were evacuated from the camp on Friday.
The bodies have been deposited in the state hospital mortuary while those alive are now in the hospital for treatment.
