The Sokoto State government has been commended for ensuring teachers in the state meet the Federal Government’s minimum requirements for teaching.
The thumbs-up came from the Registrar-General of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, Professor Josiah Olusegun who was in the state.
Olusegun said he had been to many states, to access their level of compliance, and that Sokoto stands out as a leading example.
