Nigerian player Samuel Kalu has signed with Belgian top flight club KAA Gent from Slovakia’s AS Trencin.
Gent announced on their official website on Wednesday that Kalu has signed a contract for three-and-a-half years.
The 19-year-old Nigerian has now joined his compatriots Moses Simon and Rabiu Ibrahim at Gent.
Gent describe their new signing as “a winger who has great technical ability, who is very fast.”
Kalu signed a contract until 2020 after winning the Slovakian title with Trencin, whom he joined in 2016.
He played 42 games for Trencin, scoring six goals and bagging eight assists.
