NFF to convince Everton’s Lookman to play for Nigeria

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, is considering the possibility of getting England under-20 forward Ademola Lookman to play for the Super Eagles.

Lookman scored on his debut for Everton last weekend in the 4-1 thrashing of Manchester City.

NFF official Bitrus Bewarang said he was “excited” to see the 19-year-old score against City on Sunday.

Lookman, who joined Everton from League One side Charlton Athletic could follow in the footsteps of Victor Moses and Alex Iwobi, who became Nigerian internationals after representing England at youth level.
