Toyin Aimakhu, Yomi Fabiyi win best Yoruba actress, actor in leading role

Prominent Nigerian Yoruba acts, Toyin Aimakhu and Yomi Fabiyi have won won the best Yoruba actress and actor in a leading role.

Aimakhu beat Mercy Aigbe (Victims), Temitope Solaja (Lehin Ikoro), Toyin Aimakhu (Metomi), Wumi Toriola (Eni Owo) Yewande Adegbenro (Yeye Oge) and Jumoke Odetola (Binta Ofege) to emerge the 2016 best actress in a Yoruba movie.

Similarly, Fabiyi beat Femi Adebayo (Gbewiri Meta), Niyi Johnson (Lifeline), Muyiwa Ademola (Eni –Owo), Lateef Adedimeji (Yeye Oge) to win the best actor.
