Nigeria Professional Football League side, Rivers United continued their impressive pre-season form as they beat the Villarreal B team side by a lone goal today in a friendly.
Guy Kuemian’s 24th minute strike was enough to give the Nigerian side the victory.
The team will also take on a La Liga club while in Spain with a number of friendly matches already lined up against Segunda B clubs, Levante Union Deportiva II and Club Deportivo Alcoyano.
The team are expected back in Nigeria on Thursday, December the 22nd.
