The National Judicial Council (NJC) has recommended the dismissal of two Justices in the Country.
The Council recommended the sack of Justice Ugbo Ononogbo of the Abia State High Court of Justice, and the compulsory retirement from office of Justice Nasir Gummi of Zamfara State High Court of Justice with immediate effect.
The NJC’s Acting Director of Information,Soji Oye said Justice Ononogbo’s sack is based on allegations of corruption.
The council also recommended the police investigate the Judge, and the Assistant Chief Registrar of the Probate Division of the Abia State High Court.
