The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency and the Presidential Amnesty Programme are in strategic partnership to reintegrate ex-agitators in the Niger Delta region.
The Director General of The maritime safety agency, Dakuku Peterside and the Special Adviser to the president on Niger Delta, Brigadier General Paul Boroh retired, at a meeting in Lagos, agreed that in order to achieve a safe and secured maritime industry and the economy as a whole, ex-militants who have concluded training in different maritime disciplines would need to be engaged.
