TVC E. 19-year-old Stephanie Del Valle, representing Puerto Rico won the 66th edition of the Miss World pageant which held on Sunday, 19th December, 2016.
The contest which held in MGM National Habour, Oxon Hill, Maryland, USA had 117 contestants from all over the world vying for the crown which Stephanie ultimately won.
The first runner up was Yaritza Miguelina Reyes Ramirez representing the Dominican Republic, followed by Miss Indonesia, Natasha Mannuela. Miss Philipines and Miss Kenya also made it to the top five.
A shocked Stephanie was crowned by Miss World 2015, Mireia Lalaguna of Spain. This is the second time Puerto Rico is taking the Miss World crown, the first time being in 1975 when Wilnelia Merced from Puerto Rico won the crown.
