Marc Anthony and his model wife, Shannon de Lima are getting a divorce after two years of marriage.
According to E!, the couple called it quits two months ago but only made it official on Sunday, December 18, 2016.
The singer and his wife say their decision to separate is a mutual one.
In a statement by 48-year-old Anthony and Shannon, 28, ‘After much consideration, we have mutually and amicably decided to end our two year marriage. We ask for privacy during this difficult process, and no further comments will be made from either one of us about this personal matter.’
They have no children together, though both have children from previous relationships.
De Lima has a nine-year-old son while Anthony has four children, with two from his marriage to Puerto Rican actress Dayanara Torres and twins from his marriage to singer Jennifer Lopez.
This comes a month after Anthony and J Lo shared a kiss on stage at the Latin Grammys in Las Vegas.
After that moment, Anthony went on a kissing spree, supposedly to prove that the kiss with J Lo was nothing. Appears there was more to it with this development.
