Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr says parents of Netherlands-based defender Tyronne Ebuehi have promised him the player will honour Nigeria’s call-up after he turned down his first chance with the team.
Ebuehi was called up for last month’s World Cup qualifier against Algeria, but rejected the invitation.
But the German coach has now revealed the player’s parents have confirmed he will be available for selection if he is invited again.
Ebuehi was scouted for the Eagles right fullback position, which has seen four players feature in that role in Nigeria’s last three matches.
