Year of Mercy : Catholic Faithful call for unity in Nigeria

Nigerians have been asked to be their brothers keepers at this period of economic recession.

A Catholic Church Community at an event in Lagos says there is need for citizens to support each other as the year of Mercy comes to a close.

They believe that this is the time for all Nigerians to enhance their individual and personal conversion to enable them accomplish their task in the new Nigeria.

They called on the Government to intensify the fight against corruption; adding that the privatization of public funds by politicians has held the country back for a very long time.
