Southern Kaduna killings: Groups embark on image redemption for Fulani race

The Willful encroachment of routes for cattle by farmers amid other factors has led to the lingering unrest in Southern Kaduna.

This is the position of some groups which are on an image redemption campaign for the Fulani race, following the attacks and counter attacks in Godogodo and other communities in the area.

They were armed with pictures of alleged onslaught against them by farmers in Southern Kaduna as well.

Their position is coming barely a week after the leadership of the herdsmen, and farmers in Southern Kaduna agreed to a ceasefire deal.

The Fulani groups say they are committed to honoring the peace treaty, but insist that they needed to straighten the records.
