President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday met behind closed doors with the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki.
The Senate President had joined President Buhari for Jumat prayers at the mosque inside the Presidential Villa before the commencement of the meeting.
Saraki was accompanied to the President’s office by Senator Danjuma Goje.
Briefing State House correspondents afterwards, Saraki disclosed that the President’s external borrowing request earlier rejected by the Senate, was still a work in progress.
