The police say it may search some electorate who may be suspected of carrying arms before they are allowed to vote.
The deputy Inspector General of Police, operations, in charge of the Ondo state governorship election, Habila Joshak disclosed this while briefing newsmen on the level of preparedness of security operatives ahead of Saturday’s poll.
He added that at least 5 policemen will man each of the polling units warning those who may be planning to foment trouble to have a rethink.
