President of the Performing Musician Employer Association (PMAN), Pretty Okafor has urged parents to encourage their kids to discover their talents.
He made this known at a talent-hunt show tagged, ‘THE REAL FACE OF AN AFRICAN CHILD’ in Lagos.
Pretty and his crew say they decided to scan the length and breadth of Nigeria in search of children with unique talent so as to give them a veritable platform to showcase their skill.
Upsound
Organisers believe that the African child is peculiar. And though faced with cultural, social and economic challenges often, but has the ability shine in the face of difficulty.
The platform, they say is particular as it is about carriage and charisma of the African child.
Present at the occassion were some entertainment heavyweights including music legend Sunny Nneji, rapper Ruggedman, singer and producer Felix Duke.
