TVC E. Super Eagles Player Dele Alampasu is the only one yet to return to his club because of passport, Super Eagles technical adviserGernot Rorh has told news men in Abuja
Rohr revealed that Alampasu’s delay in going back to his Portuguese lower division side Cesarense is due to his international passport which is due for renewal as the pages are filled up.
“All the players who played the match against Algeria have returned to their respective clubs with the exception of Dele Alampasu who had problem with his passport and needed to acquire new one before he rejoins his club. The other players have arrived at their respective clubs and have called to inform me,” Rohr told news men.
“Alampasu will probably go back next week as it is not likely that his passport will be ready this week. Luckily for him, the Portuguese league will be off this weekend so he won’t miss anything. He has informed his club and they have given him time to process his new passport.” He said of Alampasu: “He is a young goalkeeper who hopefully will mature to be a great player and asset for Nigeria. He really impressed in camp and I think he needs to be encouraged.”
