The chances of the APC candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu, in the Ondo governorship election next week, seem to have brightened with the endorsement of Igbo and Hausa residents.
This comes as Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, joined Akeredolu’s campaign trail in Ondo.
TVC News Correspondent, Akin Ogunmola reports that Ikare Akoko was on the itinerary of the campaign team of the APC Governorship candidate for the day, but the convoy made a detour to the Akure Airport where the Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum – Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State joined the campaign train.
From the airport, Okorocha and Akeredolu made a triumphal entry into the state capital stopping over at the palace of the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi before meeting Igbo and Hausa resident in the state in separate locations.
Back at the Akure Airport to see the Imo State Governor off, the unexpected happened as Governor Olusegun Mimiko drove in in a short convoy.
