The Nigerian computer society in Lagos is discussing the prospects of the emergence of Lagos smartcity and its benefits, issues and challenges.
The chairman of the Lagos chapter of the Nigeria computer association Onyeukwu Charles says the group is ready to partner with the Lagos state government in the development and implementation of an ICT roadmap for consistency, integration and inclusiveness.
They also called for greater sensitisation of Lagosians ahead of the implementation of the planned smartcity project in the state.
The Nigeria computer society urged the state government to invest more in human capacity development.
