Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose on Thursday paid a visit on the Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko following the appeal court’s ruling compelling INEC to recognize Eyitayo Jegede as the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Saturday’s governorship election.
Ondo state Governor Olusegun Mimiko insists that the Independent National Electoral Commission should postpone the November 26th governorship election in the state.
Governor Mimiko in an Interview with TVC NEWS Correspondent Femi Akande said there is no level playing ground for Eyitayo Jegede, the PDP’s candidate in the State to contest the election.
He said Eyitayo Jegede’s name was not listed by INEC as the PDP’s flag bearer in the state 30 days prior to election as stated in the electoral act.
