Beyonce sweeped the Soul Train Awards 2016.
The 35-year-old walked away with four wins in several of the top categories, including Album/Mixtape of the Year and Best R&B Soul Female Artist.
The second highest winner(s) of the night was Fat Joe, Remy Ma and French Montana for their collaboration on the song, All the Way Up.
The controversial R&B princess released her sixth studio album this past April, which included songs that spoke of cheating relationships and social justice issues.
During her Superbowl halftime performance, the former Destiny’s Child member gathered a slew of female dancer, dressed in Black Panther attire, to perform her single, Formation.
Two of her awards received Sunday night were in honour of that song: Video of The Year and Song of the Year.
