The Nigerian Football Federation is planning to get Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham to switch from England and play for Nigeria in the near future.
Abraham is regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in English football and is often compared to Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.
The 19-year old forward was born to Nigerian parents but has played for England Under-18, Under-19 and recently made his debut for the Under-21 team.
NFF President, Amaju Pinnick reveals he is in touch with the parents of the youngster, who was named the Championship player for the month of September.
Abraham has scored 11 goals in his first 14 Championship and EFL Cup games for Bristol City, where he is on loan from Chelsea.
